Публикует сведения о погоде на данный год по районам, таблицы посадки различных культур, кулинарные рецепты, сведения о праздничных датах, советы, как хранить урожай, и многое другое. Ранее выходил под названием "Фермерский альманах Роберта Б. Томаса" [Robert B. Thomas Farmer's Almanac]. 2 Poor Richard's Almanack
"Альманах Бедного Ричарда" ("Бедный Ричард")Ежегодник, издававшийся Б. Франклином [ Franklin, Benjamin; Poor Richard] в 1732-58. Хотя многие сомневались в успехе нового издания (в 1732 в Филадельфии выходило семь альманахов для фермеров), уже в первый год издания "Бедный Ричард" стал второй по популярности книгой в колониях после Библии. Наряду с обычной информацией о погоде, урожае, советами по медицине и по хозяйству, Франклин стал печатать в нем свои изречения, притчи, наблюдения и афоризмы, уже тогда сделавшие его известным. Франклин перестал писать для альманаха в 1748, когда ежегодный тираж издания достигал 10 тыс. экз. В 1757 он полностью отстранился от издания, а через год издал сборник своих наиболее интересных высказываний "Речь отца Авраама" ["Father Abraham's Speech"], вошедший в историю американской литературы под названием "Путь к богатству" ["The Way to Wealth"].
